Workout Titan has one marketing email channel, called 'Latest news and updates'. It carries product news, feature releases, tips and platform changes. This article covers what is on it, how often it arrives, and how to turn it on or off.
One channel
We used to run separate marketing and announcement email channels. They are now merged into a single 'Latest news and updates' channel in the app. One toggle controls all of it, so there is one place to check and one place to change your mind.
How often it arrives
Our 'Latest news and updates' emails are limited to one a month. We only send one when there is something worth telling you about, such as a major update or a new feature. In a month with nothing significant, you will not hear from us.
Marketing emails are off by default. If you have never turned this on, you are not receiving them.
How to opt in
You can opt in when you create your account in the app, or at any time in 'Manage account' > 'Communication', where you will find the 'Latest news and updates' toggle.
How to opt out
You can turn it off at any time, in either of two places:
- The 'Latest news and updates' toggle under 'Manage account' > 'Communication'
- The unsubscribe link in the footer of any marketing email
Either one works on its own, and you can turn the toggle back on later if you change your mind.
Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not stop system emails. Those cover things like account security and changes to our legal documents. We are required to send them to everyone with an account, whatever their marketing preferences.
If you want all email from us to stop, the only way is to delete your account. Deleting your account explains what that removes and how to cancel before it runs.
Tracking in our emails
We keep tracking in our marketing emails to a minimum. We record basic information such as whether an email was opened and whether a link was clicked. We use it to judge whether what we send is worth sending.

That is the whole arrangement: one toggle, at most one email a month, and off again whenever you want.
