Clients & the grid

  • Archiving a client, and the Foundation waitArchiving is reversible everywhere except on the free plan, where a 14-day wait applies before you can bring someone back. Know that before you archive anyone.

The figures on a client card

Workouts, exercises, updates, engagement, weight, sign-in streak and Academy lessons. What each one counts, and which are worth acting on.

Topics: Clients & the grid

Each client carries a set of figures, most with a trend and a comparison against the previous month. They are not equally useful, so it is worth knowing what each one counts.

The counts

  • Workouts and Exercises: how much program exists for them. These measure your output, not theirs.
  • Updates: how many exercise updates they have posted. This is the count that reflects their activity rather than yours.
  • Weight: their latest log, labeled as such rather than presented as a current fact. If it is from six weeks ago, it is six weeks old.

Engagement

Engagement is shown against the previous month. A figure on its own means very little. The change from one month to the next is the part you can act on.

Engagement falling month over month is the most actionable thing on this screen. It often shows up weeks before a client says anything about stopping.

Sign-in streak

How many days running they have opened Workout Titan Coaching. It counts habit rather than progress, and a broken streak is often a vacation rather than a problem. It is a conversation starter, not a performance metric. A client who feels judged on the streak can open the app without doing anything, and then the number tells you less than it did.

Academy

Lessons completed. This is where course progress surfaces, and it is deliberately narrow. You only see progress on courses that were set up to be visible to coaches. That is a small number of them, typically client onboarding.

Everything else a client reads in the Academy is private. Somebody working through an article about deleting their account, or about turning nutrition sharing off, does not appear here. That is by design.

What to do with them

Read the direction rather than the number. A client with fewer updates than last month is worth a message. A large total usually just means a client who has been with you a while.

The figures describe activity in the app. They do not describe effort, progress or what a client is getting from your coaching. A client who trains regularly and logs little will show lower numbers than one who logs everything and trains less.
