Search has its own tab. It covers everything you have rather than one screen at a time, which makes it the fastest way around Workout Titan Coaching once you have more than a handful of clients.
What you can search
Coaches can find active or archived clients, workouts, exercises and videos. Clients search their own workouts and exercises.
For clients: search covers your own workouts and exercises. It is a quicker way back to a workout you did last week than scrolling your dashboard.
Tabs across the top narrow it: All, Clients, Archived clients, Workouts, Exercises and Videos. Start on All and switch when you know what kind of thing you are after.
Finding an archived client
For coaches: archived clients do not appear on your dashboard, so search is often how you find someone who has been away. Check the archived tab before you conclude that a returning client has deleted their account.
Finding a video to attach
Also for coaches: searching your video library by name is how you attach a clip to an exercise. That is the reason to name uploads properly. A library of files called "IMG_4471" cannot be found by name.
Nothing found
Two different messages, and they mean different things. "No results found" means nothing anywhere matched, so check your spelling or try fewer words. "No results in this category" means there are matches, just not in the tab you are looking at. Switch to All.
That second message is a useful reminder that the tabs filter one set of results rather than running separate searches.
Search matches names rather than contents, so looking for a cue you wrote in an exercise's notes will not find it. Search for the exercise instead.
If you cannot find something you know exists, the name is usually the problem rather than the search. Try a shorter piece of the name, or go back to the All tab and read through what does come back.
Naming things so you can find them
For coaches: search is only as good as what you typed when you created things. Use the exercise name a person would actually search for, keep workout titles descriptive rather than coded, and give videos real names. Three seconds at creation saves a lot of scrolling later.
