Registered with the ICO under registration number ZB796869. We, Workout Titan Limited ("us", "we", or "our"), operate the website found at https://www.workouttitan.com, the Basecamp coaching platform found at https://www.basecamp.workouttitan.com, and the mobile application available for download on the Apple App Store, for iOS and iPadOS, and on the Google Play Store, for Android, collectively referred to as the "Service".

This policy explains what cookies are, exactly which cookies and similar technologies our website and Basecamp use and why, and the choices you have. We keep cookie use to a minimum: nothing beyond what is described on this page is stored on your device, and analytics runs only if you choose to allow it. Our mobile applications for iOS, iPadOS and Android do not use cookies; what they store on your device, and the services they rely on, are described in our Privacy Policy.

What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to store on your device. They let the website remember you and your choices, for example which language you prefer, between pages and between visits.

Cookies come in two primary types: "persistent" and "session" cookies. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period after you close your browser, while session cookies last only for the duration of your visit and are deleted when you close your browser. Websites can also store similar data in your browser's local storage, which stays on your device until you clear it and is covered by this policy in the same way.

The Cookies We Use

Our website and Basecamp use the following cookies and similar storage on your device. Only the strictly necessary items are set regardless of your choice; the rest depend on the consent you give.

• wt-cookie-consent records the choice you made for each category on our cookie banner — functional, analytics, and session recording and surveys — together with when you made it and a random consent reference, so we do not ask you again on every visit. This cookie is strictly necessary (it is how we honour your choice) and is kept for 12 months.
• wt-locale remembers the language you selected with the language switcher, so the website opens in your language on your next visit. This is a functional cookie, kept for 12 months, and it is set only after you accept cookies. If you decline or later withdraw consent, it is deleted immediately.
• wt-banner-dismissed remembers that you closed the announcement strip that sometimes appears at the top of the page, so that it is not shown to you again. It stores a reference to the particular announcement you dismissed rather than a simple "yes", so that a new announcement still reaches you. This is a functional cookie, kept for 12 months, and it is set only after you accept cookies. If you decline or later withdraw consent, it is deleted immediately; the strip still closes when you dismiss it, but it will reappear on your next visit.
• view_preferences (local storage, not a cookie) remembers display preferences you set on listing and pricing pages, such as grid or list view, sort order and the billing period toggle. This is a functional preference and is stored only after you accept functional cookies. It stays in your browser, is never transmitted to us, and remains until you clear your browsing data; if you decline or later withdraw consent, it is deleted immediately.
• coeus_cookie_consent_v1 records the cookie choice you made in Basecamp, in the same way that wt-cookie-consent does on the main website, so we do not ask you again on every visit. It is strictly necessary, is kept for 12 months, and is mirrored in your browser's local storage as coeus_cookie_consent_ui.
• sb-api-auth-token and the related Supabase authentication cookies keep you signed in to Basecamp and protect your session. They are strictly necessary, and are set only once you sign in.
• coeus_web_ui_locale remembers the language you selected in Basecamp, and is stored both as a cookie and, under the same name, in your browser's local storage. This is a functional preference, the cookie is kept for 12 months, and neither is stored until after you accept functional cookies. If you decline or later withdraw consent, both are deleted immediately.
• coeus_global_banner_dismissed_v1 remembers that you closed the announcement strip in Basecamp, in the same way that wt-banner-dismissed does on the main website. The announcement itself is written once and shown in both places, but each remembers your dismissal separately, so closing it on the website does not close it in Basecamp. This is a functional cookie, kept for 12 months, and it is set only after you accept functional cookies. If you decline or later withdraw consent, it is deleted immediately.
• coeus_workspace_ cookies (the sidebar's state and width, which sections are open, the archived rail and the training tree) together with coeus_nutrition_week_metrics_v1 remember how you have arranged the Basecamp workspace, so it looks the same on your next visit. These are functional cookies, are kept for 12 months, and are all deleted immediately if you withdraw functional consent.
• coeus_sticky_note_positions_v1 remembers where you dragged each sticky note on the Coeus workspace, so that your notes are where you left them on your next visit. It stores only an identifier for each note and its position on the screen — what you actually wrote on a note is held in your account on our servers, not in the cookie. This is a functional cookie, kept for 12 months, and it is set only after you accept functional cookies. If you decline or later withdraw consent, it is deleted immediately.
• coeus_video_captions_v1 (local storage, not a cookie) remembers whether you asked for captions to be shown on coaching videos, so that your choice carries over to the next video you play. This is a functional preference and is stored only after you accept functional cookies. Having no expiry date of its own, it stays in your browser until you clear your browsing data; if you decline or later withdraw consent, it is deleted immediately.
• Basecamp working storage — while you are signed in, Basecamp keeps a small amount of application state in your browser. The Coeus chat you currently have open, a short-lived cache of its suggested conversation starters, and any workout or exercise you have copied ready to paste are all held in session storage, which your browser discards when you close the tab. Whether you have chosen to show notifications you have already read is held in local storage instead: it is stored only after you accept functional cookies, it stays until you clear your browsing data, and it is deleted immediately if you decline or later withdraw consent. This is state Basecamp keeps so that it works as you move around it, it stays in your browser, and none of it is used for analytics or tracking.
• _cs_id, _cs_s and other _cs_ cookies are set by Contentsquare, the provider described below, and only if you allow session recording and surveys. They give your browser a randomly generated identifier and group your activity into a single visit, so that we can review a recording of that visit. Depending on the cookie, these are kept from 30 minutes up to 13 months.
• _cs_optout is stored only if you decline session recording and surveys, or withdraw that consent. It is how Contentsquare is told not to collect anything from you, and it is kept for 13 months.
• _hj cookies are set by Contentsquare's on-site surveys, which run from the same tag and only if you allow session recording and surveys. They record which surveys you have already answered, closed or minimised, so that you are not asked the same thing twice, along with a few short-lived technical values. Most are kept for 365 days; _hjUserAttributes has no expiry date and stays in your browser until you clear your browsing data.

A record of your choice is also kept on our servers. When you accept, decline or change your cookie choice, the same decision is sent to us and stored, together with the random consent reference held in the consent cookies described above, the version of the categories you were shown, the time you decided and your browser's user-agent string. We keep this so that we can show what you chose and when, which data protection law requires us to be able to do. Because it is how we evidence your choice rather than something we do with your permission, it is recorded whether you accept or decline, and it is not something you can turn off. The consent reference is a random value that means nothing on its own — it identifies the decision, not you — and the record is connected to your account only if you were signed in to Basecamp when you made it. We do not store your IP address alongside it. These records are kept for 24 months and are then deleted automatically.

Analytics, Session Recording and Surveys

We use two different kinds of tool, and each has its own permission on our banner. Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights run only if you allow analytics: they are cookieless, they set nothing on your device, and they produce aggregated statistics such as which pages are visited, the type of device used and page-loading performance. Contentsquare goes considerably further, which is why it sits behind a separate permission for session recording and surveys: it sets the _cs_ cookies listed above and records how you use each page — the pages you view, clicks, scrolling, mouse movement and taps, and technical details such as your screen size and browser — so that a visit can be replayed as a session recording and we can see where the site is confusing or slow. Allowing analytics does not switch this on; you have to agree to it separately.

A session recording is linked to the random identifier in the Contentsquare cookies rather than to your name, and Contentsquare acts as our processor: it may only use what it collects to provide the service to us. A recording can capture the content of the pages you view and what you do on them, so we treat it as personal data. Contentsquare does not track you across other websites, and we do not use recordings to try to identify you.

Some personal data is removed by the tag inside your browser, before anything is sent to Contentsquare, and this cannot be switched off. Session recording never captures the text typed into form fields — the contents of inputs and text areas are replaced with bullets and their underlying values are stripped — so what you enter on our sign-in form is not recorded. Email addresses, payment card numbers and authentication tokens are detected and replaced wherever they appear. This does not cover everything: other content on the pages you view is still recorded, which is why we treat recordings as personal data. Answers you give in a survey are the exception, and are described below.

If you decline session recording and surveys, or have not yet made a choice, Contentsquare is not loaded at all — its script is never downloaded and no _cs_ or _hj cookie is created. If you withdraw that consent later, collection stops immediately, the Contentsquare cookies are deleted, and the script is not loaded again on any future visit unless you choose to allow it once more. The Vercel tools work differently: their script is loaded together with the page, but it is cookieless and stores nothing on your device, and no analytics data is sent to Vercel unless you have allowed analytics.

Within Basecamp, Contentsquare runs on the signed-out landing page only. It is not loaded anywhere in the signed-in product, so nothing you work with after signing in — including client records and coaching conversations — is ever recorded by it.

We also use Contentsquare's on-site surveys, which load from the same tag and appear only if you have allowed session recording and surveys. A survey differs from session recording in one important way: it collects exactly what you choose to type into it. If you answer, we receive your answer, so please do not put anything in a survey box that you would not want us to hold — we do not need health information and ask you not to provide it there. You can dismiss a survey without answering, and that dismissal is remembered only so we do not ask you again.

Contentsquare keeps the data it collects for us for 13 months. Session recordings are deleted after one month. IP addresses are not stored in Contentsquare's databases at all: they are used only to estimate your city and country and to filter out automated traffic, and are removed from short-term technical logs after three days.

What We Do Not Do

We do not use advertising or marketing cookies, social media pixels or cross-site tracking, we do not sell or share data about your visit with data brokers, and we do not combine what we collect with data from other sources in order to identify you. If our use of cookies ever changes, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before anything new is set.

Third-Party Services

Like most websites, we rely on a small number of service providers to deliver the website and Basecamp themselves. When your browser requests content from them, they receive technical data such as your IP address as a necessary part of responding. Those providers are Vercel (hosting for the website and Basecamp, and the cookieless analytics described above), Sanity (delivery of page content and images), Supabase (accounts, sign-in and data storage for Basecamp), Mux (streaming of the videos embedded in our pages), Atlassian Statuspage (a service-status check shown in our footer), Anthropic (the AI model behind Coeus in Basecamp, which sets no cookies and is described in our Privacy Policy) and Contentsquare (the consent-gated analytics, session recording and surveys described above). Of these, Contentsquare is the only one that sets cookies requiring your consent; the Supabase sign-in cookies described above are strictly necessary. Contentsquare is the trading name of Content Square Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under number 09825744 with its registered office at 6 St Andrew Street, London EC4A 3AE, which acts as our processor. It processes and stores the data it collects for us in the European Economic Area, in Ireland. Where any personal data is transferred beyond the UK or the EEA, that transfer relies on an adequacy decision or on the Standard Contractual Clauses incorporated into our agreement with the provider. Your Choices

When you first visit, our banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies; both options are equally available, and declining does not limit your use of the website or of Basecamp. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of the website and of the Basecamp landing page, or, once you are signed in to Basecamp, under Manage account. Withdrawing consent deletes the language, workspace and announcement cookies, the display, caption and notification preferences kept in your browser's local storage, and the Contentsquare cookies, and stops analytics and session recording immediately.

You can also manage or delete cookies in your browser settings. Guidance is available for Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari; for other browsers, please see their official support pages. Note that deleting the wt-cookie-consent or coeus_cookie_consent_v1 cookie means the banner will ask for your choice again, and deleting wt-locale or coeus_web_ui_locale means the website or Basecamp will no longer remember your language.
