You control which marketing emails Workout Titan sends you. This article covers how to turn them on, how to turn them off, and which emails carry on either way.
How marketing emails work
Marketing emails are off by default. You only get them if you choose to turn them on. You can opt in when you create your account in the app, by turning on the opt-in option, or by entering your email address on our website.
There is one marketing channel, called 'Latest news and updates'. It covers news, feature releases and tips, and one toggle controls all of it.
If you have never turned it on, you are not receiving marketing email from us and nothing needs changing.
You can change your choice at any time in 'Manage account' > 'Communication' in the app, where you will find the 'Latest news and updates' toggle.
Turn marketing emails off
There are two ways to stop them. Turn off the 'Latest news and updates' toggle under 'Manage account' > 'Communication' in the app, or use the unsubscribe link in the footer of any marketing email.
Either one works on its own. You do not need to do both, and you can turn the toggle back on later if you change your mind.
Emails we still send
Turning marketing emails off does not stop system emails. Those cover things like account security and changes to our legal documents. We are required to send them to everyone with an account, whatever their marketing preferences.
System emails are not marketing. They exist so you know about things that affect your account and your agreement with us.
If you want all email from us to stop, the only way is to delete your account. You can start that from 'Manage account' in the app. Deletion runs 14 days after you ask, and deleting your account explains what it removes and how to cancel.
Tracking in our emails
We keep tracking in our marketing emails to a minimum. We record basic information such as whether an email was opened and whether a link was clicked. We use it to judge whether what we send is worth sending.

None of these choices are permanent. You can change any of them from the same screen whenever you want.
