Tracking & trends

  • End-of-day notes and ratingsClose a day with a rating of how it went and a short note. It is the one place in the app for the things a calorie count cannot record, and the part a coach reads first.
  • Fasting: plans, stages and safetyPlans from 12 to 20 hours with a live countdown. Read the safety list first, because Nutrition requires it, and treat the stage timings as averages rather than a reading of your body.
  • Logging hydration, including caffeinated drinksFour presets or a custom amount, with a flag for anything caffeinated. Every log adds to that day's total, and the chart holds six months.
  • Logging your weightLog in kilograms, pounds, or stone and pounds. Everything is charted in kilograms over six months, and your latest entry becomes the current weight your calorie estimate uses.
  • Reading the week viewSeven days at once, per nutrient, against your goals. What the GOAL, FOOD and LEFT columns mean, why some days are grey, and why exercise calories are always zero.
  • Reminders and notification schedulesFive ready-made reminders or your own, daily, weekly or once. Turn push notifications on first, or the schedules save but never deliver.

Reminders and notification schedules

Five ready-made reminders or your own, daily, weekly or once. Turn push notifications on first, or the schedules save but never deliver.

Topics: Tracking & trends

Reminders live in the More menu of Workout Titan Nutrition, under Reminders. They are your own nudges to log something, not messages from us, and you choose every one of them.

Turn push notifications on first

This is the step people miss. Push notifications live in Manage account, under Notifications, and reminders will not deliver without them. You can still add schedules first. They save, and a banner explains that they will not arrive until push is enabled.

You can also turn notifications off at the system level, in your device's own settings, and that overrides everything here.

The quick presets

Five ready-made reminders, added in one tap each:

  • Log breakfast, Log lunch, Log dinner: a nudge at each meal.
  • End-of-day check-in: review the day and add anything you missed.
  • Log weight: a weekly nudge to record your weight.

Add one twice and you get a note saying it is already on your list, rather than a quiet duplicate.

Building your own

A custom reminder takes five things:

  • Title: what it is for, such as "Log afternoon snack".
  • Notification message: the words that appear on your lock screen.
  • Repeat: daily, weekly or once. Weekly needs at least one day picked.
  • Time: when it fires.
  • Opens: where tapping it takes you, either your food log or the weight screen.

The destination is worth setting properly. A reminder that opens the screen you need is quicker to act on than one that opens on the front page.

Reminders belong to a device

Schedules are set per device, not per account. Add them on your phone and your tablet will not have them, and removing one stops it on that device only. This is deliberate: you rarely want the same nudge on three screens at once. It does surprise people who expect everything to sync.

Turning one off without deleting it

Each schedule has an Active switch. Use it for something seasonal (a training-block reminder, or a nudge you want back next month) rather than deleting and rebuilding it.

How many to set

A short list tends to work better than a long one. Reminders register while they are still few, and a phone that buzzes six times a day about food gets dismissed on reflex. One at the meal you most often forget, plus the end-of-day check-in, is enough for most people.

Workout Titan

Two apps, one focus: fitness done properly. Coaching gives trainers powerful programmes, live progress and instant adjustments. Nutrition turns your camera into a food log. Scan a pack, a label or your meal and the numbers are done.
