Progress tracking

  • Adding and comparing your progress photosAdd progress photos over time and compare any two side by side. How to add, view, compare and delete them, and who can see them.
  • Connecting Apple Health or Health ConnectShare your daily steps with your coach by connecting Apple Health on iPhone or Health Connect on Android. How to connect, what we store, and how to stop.
  • Logging weight and body measurementsWeight can be logged by either of you, and measurements are always yours. The 10 sites Workout Titan Coaching tracks, why it needs at least 4, and how units are stored.
  • Progress photos for coachesAdd and compare a client's progress photos, turn the feature on or off for each client, and see what you can and can't delete.
  • Setting a client's body metrics and targetsBody metrics feed the calculators; the calorie, macro and weight goals you set become the targets your client sees in Nutrition. What each field drives.
  • Steps for coachesSee the daily steps your clients sync from Apple Health or Health Connect, set a daily step target, and hide steps from a client who'd rather not see them.
  • Using the calculatorsBMI, resting rate and total daily energy expenditure, worked out from a client's details. What each produces, what the activity levels mean, and the limits Workout Titan Coaching states itself.
  • Viewing a client's nutrition logsSee what a client actually ate, by day and by meal. What the two switches that control this mean, and how to read a food diary well.

Clients

  • Archiving and restoring a clientArchiving takes someone off your active dashboard without deleting anything. It is fully reversible, and it is the right move when a client stops rather than leaves.
  • Controlling what a client can logTwo switches decide whether a client can log their own nutrition and their own weight. Measurements are never theirs to log. What each switch changes on their side.
  • Inviting a clientThree declarations to read, then a share link. Your client has 24 hours to download the app and finish signing up before the invite expires.
  • Payment reminders and session typeAn overdue-payment indicator you drive yourself, and a way to sort clients by how you actually see them. Neither takes money. Workout Titan does not handle payments at all.
  • The client profile at a glanceEverything you hold on one client sits behind Manage client: their programme, their targets, their logs and their preferences. What each part is for, and the two fields you cannot touch.
  • What you agree to when you invite a clientThe three declarations before an invite are a real commitment. You confirm you are qualified, you accept responsibility for your advice, and Workout Titan does not verify either.

Progress photos for coaches

Add and compare a client's progress photos, turn the feature on or off for each client, and see what you can and can't delete.

Topics: Progress tracking, Clients

Progress photos give you a visual record of a client's changes to set beside their weight and measurements. Your client can add photos, you can add them too, and either of you can compare any two side by side. This article covers adding and comparing photos, the client setting, and what you can and can't delete.

Open a client's progress photos

Open the client, then open their menu and tap 'Progress photos'. The gallery shows every photo of that client, whoever added it, grouped by month with the newest first.

Tap a pose at the top to show only Front, Side, Back or Other.

Add photos for a client

You can always add photos, whatever the client's setting. This is useful when you take photos at an in-person check-in.

  • Tap the plus button in the client's 'Progress photos'.
  • Tap 'Take photo' or 'Choose from library'. You can add up to four photos at a time.
  • Choose the pose, check the 'Date taken' and add a note if you like. Notes can be up to 280 characters.
  • Tap 'Add photos'.

Your client gets a notification, and the photos show 'Added by your coach' in their gallery. You need a connection to add photos.

Compare photos

Tap a photo to open it. Swipe to move between photos, and pinch or double-tap to zoom.

To compare two photos, tap the compare button at the top right. Tap 'Before' or 'After', then pick a photo from the strip at the bottom for that side. Filtering by pose first makes it easier to compare like with like.

Photos you've already opened still show when you're offline.

Turn progress photos on or off for a client

Progress photos are on for clients by default. To change this, open the client's menu, tap 'Manage' followed by their name, and use the 'Progress photos' switch under Preferences. If it's off, the client's gallery tells you so and shows an 'Enable' button that takes you there.

When it's off, the client can't add new photos and the shortcut is hidden from their Home screen. The photos already there are kept, and you can still view them and add your own.

Notifications

You get a notification when a client adds progress photos. You can turn this off in 'Manage account' > 'Notifications' under 'Progress photos'.

Deleting photos

  • You can delete photos you added. Press and hold a photo in the gallery, or open it and tap delete.
  • You can't delete photos your client added. Only the client can.
  • Your client can delete any photo of themselves, including ones you added.

Deleting a photo removes it for both of you. You can't undo this.

Privacy

Progress photos are private. Only the client and their current coach can see them.

  • Photos are resized on the phone before they upload, and location and camera details are removed.
  • If a client moves to another coach, the new coach can see their photos and you no longer can.
  • If a client deletes their account, their photos are deleted with it.

Only take or add photos with your client's agreement. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle health information like this.
